Amy Acker
"I want a guy who likes to be climbed on. I love to hang onto people.
Literally."
Acker came on as a guest role for the WB's Angel but fans quickly took a
liking to her so she's staying. Acker cut her acting teeth in an indie flick
called Groom Lake, written and directed by William Shatner. Her stage
credits include Shakespeare's The Tempest and Much Ado About Nothing.
A Dallas native, this Southern belle was entrenched in ballet, modern and jazz
dance before making the leap to the small screen. With years of theatre under
her belt, she hopes to return to the stage when not dealing with the underworld.
Acker, after living in New York, is adjusting to the West Coast just fine:
"Most of my best friends are in New York and it's hard not having them here
but I've met some great people. I was just planning to stay here until April but
it's become a permanent move."
